The Uptown Groove is a versatile and eclectic band exploring Jazz, Top 40, Motown, Funk/Soul, Latin, and everything in between. The band performs at venues ranging from restaurants to festivals and from weddings to corporate functions (with the addition of an optional 3-piece horn section). Each member's musical background is unique, diverse and extensive, whereby enabling the band to seamlessly span various musical genres. With broad performance experience both individually and collectively, The Uptown Groove is a polished and professional act, making them the perfect choice for your occasion. Depending on the event's scope/budget, the band can vary in size from 5 to 10 members.

"The Uptown Groove was everything we were looking for (and more) in a band for our wedding reception. Their set list is very comprehensive...from light jazz during dinner/cocktail, to high-energy danceable reception favorites. Upon request, they also played some traditional Ballroom, Latin and Swing music for our guests. The dance floor was packed the entire night and guests are still asking us how to put them in touch with Uptown Groove. The caliber of the musicians and vocalists in this group is incredible. If you are able, go see them live...The Uptown Groove isn't just great music: their stage presence, their vibe and their sound is really something else and you should experience this first-hand. My wife and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for any of their public dates in our area when we get back from our honeymoon!"
